About Me

Hello! I'm Justin, a motivated high school student passionate about technology, problem-solving, and creative thinking. What excites me most is using computer science, AI, and design thinking to address challenges people face in everyday life — whether it's making digital tools more accessible, creating apps that solve community needs, or reimagining how technology connects us. For me, coding is not just about building something new, but about making society a little better with every project. This portfolio is a reflection of that journey, and it's only the beginning.

Micro/Nanoplastic Exposure Mitigation for Hot Food & Beverages

About the Venture Proposal

Proposed a startup focused on minimizing micro- and nanoplastic exposure during the routine consumption of hot foods and beverages. The venture concept was submitted to the Diamond Challenge, an international entrepreneurship competition, to showcase its potential impact and innovation.

Senior-Friendly Self-Service Interface Initiative

Project Goal

With the goal of designing a senior-friendly kiosk user interface that adapts technology to the needs of elderly users with low digital literacy, I developed a self-service system in collaboration with the Senior Welfare Center. This process involved conducting user research, interviews, and hands-on usability testing with over 10 seniors using a real franchise-store kiosk. Currently, I am preparing a research paper that analyzes these findings and explores design implications for creating age-inclusive self-service systems.

Project GPT+

About the Project

As part of the AI team under the leadership of Dr. Thomas W. Miller, faculty director of Northwestern University's Data Science program, we developed generative models that create interactive storybooks—including text, images, and quizzes—to support schools with limited resources, such as Apas Camp Lapu-Lapu Elementary in the Philippines. Our work aims to make learning more accessible, engaging, and personalized for children in low-resource environments.
